I stalked these statues for months (literally!) looking for the perfect light and angles. Shot them once on a foggy morning and liked the pics, but also noticed how cool the one small tree in the background looked. So, I went back with the next fog and used some the bigger trees to the North as backdrop.

This one amuses me a bit because it juxtaposes a praying angel (a sign of hope) against a dark bleak landscape. I'm sure it's not what the sculptor intended. :)

in graveyards downtown there's big angels too and huge monuments. it'd be fun going in one at night.

I need a camera. :( I do have pics taken of me in cemeteries but not pics I took. I've been hoping to find a celtic cross stone in one but no luck around here yet. Just those tall pointy monuments.
